John Baniszewski is a retired NASA veteran with 35 years at the Goddard Space Flight Center. In 2002, he became a Licensed Battlefield Guide at Gettysburg, where his storytelling skills truly came to life. What began as an impromptu ghost story at Devil’s Den evolved into a passion project.
Inspired by history and the supernatural, John wrote twelve chilling tales, now collected in Stories from the Devil’s Den. With over 3,000 tours under his belt, John blends historical insight with eerie imagination, giving voice to the spirits that still haunt Gettysburg’s blood-soaked ground.
